How to use this work hours calculator

Use this work hours calculator when you already know hours per day and do not want to punch clocks. It is the fast weekly total for schedules written as “8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 0, 0.” Switch to the Time Card Calculator if you have clock-in and clock-out times.

Formula

Total = sum of daily hours. Regular = min(total, OT after). Overtime = max(0, total − OT after). Pay = regular × wage + OT × wage × multiplier.

Worked example

Five 8-hour days is 40 hours. Add a 6-hour Saturday and you have 46 hours: 40 regular + 6 OT.
