How to use this hours calculator

This hours calculator adds durations, not clock times. Use it when a day is several jobs or when you are totaling overtime slips. Use Hours and Minutes Calculator to add or subtract exactly two durations. Use Time Calculator to add a duration onto a clock time.

Formula

Total hours = Σ (hours + minutes ÷ 60) across segments.

Worked example

2h + 1h 30m + 3h = 6.5 hours (6h 30m).
