How to use this hours to salary calculator

Hours to salary includes overtime in the projection. The older Hourly to Salary tool on this site is straight-time only (wage × hours × weeks). Use this page when OT is part of your normal schedule.

Formula

Weekly = hours × wage + OT hours × wage × multiplier. Annual = weekly × paid weeks. Monthly = annual ÷ 12.

Worked example

$25 × 40 = $1,000 straight time, plus 4 OT hours × $37.50 = $150, so $1,150 a week. × 52 ≈ $59,800 a year.
